Wheatland Dental Patient Appreciation Day
On Wednesday, June 9th, Wheatland Dental of Naperville, IL held their first annual Patient Appreciation Day. I was asked to be there to document the festivities! Here are some pictures from the event.

Recently I was able to take pictures for a good friend of mine. She and her 8 month old son were my first "official" clients and I have been anxiously waiting to see them and take their pictures! Despite the incredible heat, Austin was an angel the entire time-making for an easy shoot and some great shots; lots of fun! Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Summer Break!
It's officially summer for most of us! That is a blessing in and of itself. Add in the fact my birthday is a little over a week away, and I'm doing the happy dance all across the house! I'm like a little kid about my birthday: I love getting presents and having wrapping paper everywhere; eating my red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting; and grilling steak and onions. I LOVE Summer birthdays! (which is good for me, isn't it? haha)
You know what was so great about my family growing up? When I was little and one of my two sisters had a birthday, I would get a present too. (Don't worry, they got one on mine!) It was a way my parents showed us the attention might be on the other sister, but there was enough love to go around. In honor of my parents-and as a tribute to you all-I'm still offering 20% off my fees until June 15th. That's only 11 days away! Act now and get my gift to you. In addition to all the other gift ideas already listed, Simply Gifted is now in the business of Photography! This is actually what I went to college to study before I found recreation. After years of waiting for the right time, I think that time has come! On Sunday, June 13th I will be taking pictures of Allison Toth and her gorgeous little boy in Nashville. I'm incredibly excited and honored by this new venture. Right now I'm just offering photo sessions and CDs with waived rights to the pictures. Printing will come later.
